Product Designer / 3D Designer – Art Design & Collectible Furniture
Mavimatt Remote (🇮🇹 Milan, Italy)
The main responsibilities include ideating and developing new products for the Mavimatt brand, focusing on art design and collectible furniture. The designer will transform creative briefs into concrete concepts, ensuring aesthetic and functional quality.
Responsibilities
- Designing new art design and collectible furniture products
- Developing creative concepts starting from briefs, mood boards, inspirational images, or design indications
- Drawing objects with strong aesthetic value, not standard or conventional products
- Creating accurate 3D models of new products
- Studying proportions, volumes, ergonomics, functionality, and visual impact
- Collaborating with the Mavimatt team to transform the initial idea into a potentially producible product
- Evaluating materials, finishes, construction details, and possible production solutions
Requirements
- Experience in product design, furniture design, or collectible design
- Excellent 3D modeling skills
- Strong aesthetic sense and sensitivity towards sculptural, organic, and contemporary forms
- Ability to create original, recognizable, and non-banal objects
- Knowledge of proportions, ergonomics, and functionality applied to furniture
- Ability to understand the identity of a brand and develop products consistent with its positioning
- Good knowledge of 3D modeling software such as Rhino, Blender, Cinema 4D, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, 3ds Max, or equivalent
