UI engineer / UI Designer / Product Engineer

The Senior Designer, UI (Product) is responsible for owning the visual expression of digital product experiences and translating brand identity into scalable UI patterns. They will collaborate with UX designers and developers to ensure high-quality design implementation and conduct design reviews.
Responsibilities
- Own the visual expression of digital product experiences
- Translate brand identity into scalable, accessible UI patterns
- Drive design system contributions including tokens, component documentation, and usage guidelines in Figma
- Partner with UX designers to bring wireframes and flows to life with strong visual and interaction design
- Collaborate with developers to ensure pixel-level fidelity and accurate implementation of design intent
- Conduct design reviews, provide clear feedback, and uphold visual quality standards across the team
- Present design work to stakeholders and clients with confidence, articulating visual decisions and their rationale
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UI or product design
- Portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft
- Strong body of work showing mastery of typography, color, layout, and motion applied to digital products
- Deep proficiency in Figma, including components, variables, auto layout, and prototyping
- Experience building and contributing to design systems at scale
- Fluent in UX fundamentals and understands how UI sits within a larger product ecosystem
- Finds creative opportunities within the limits of technology, budget, legal requirements, and tight timelines
- Familiarity with front-end development principles
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions clearly
