Lead the hardware design, implementation, and management of compute systems while driving strategies and recommending industry best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and strategic customers to define technology roadmaps and bridge them into hardware products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in ideation and concept design
- Create new and reusable hardware architectures for current and new product categories
- Engage with strategic customers to represent our hardware products at a deep technical level
- Provide strategic direction for the planning, design, and architecture of high-quality, complex hardware systems
- Work with different constituencies to define technology roadmap
- Understand compute industry trends and assist in developing the strategic direction for innovative technology initiatives
- Work closely with the product teams to bridge this technology roadmap into hardware products
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience
- Proficient in all compute hardware architectures
- Strong understanding of compute components and protocols
- Experience in rack level system design
- Experience with AMD and Intel GPU, Broadcom DNX, Intel/AMO processor, hard disk, SSD, SAS/SATA, PCIE, CXL, Ax86
- Excellent interpersonal skills, well organized, self-motivated person, strong customer service, project, and analytical skills
