Product Design Manager, Design Systems

Lead the strategy, vision, and execution of the Lyft Product Language (LPL) across product, marketing, and brand surfaces. Manage a team of designers and illustrators while integrating AI into system tooling and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Set the strategy and roadmap for Lyft Product Language (LPL) across product, marketing, and brand surfaces
- Lead the AI transformation of the system
- Manage and develop a team of design systems designers and illustrators
- Hold the quality bar for system-wide design
- Partner closely with the Design Systems DPM and engineering managers to maintain system health
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in product or brand design
- 2+ years managing designers
- Direct experience leading a design system at scale
- Fluency across mobile and web platforms
- Experience managing a design systems team
- Strong track record of partnership with engineering on architecture, releases, and quality
