Principal UX Designer, Alexa for Shopping

Lead the design of new AI-driven shopping features for Alexa, translating customer needs into high-level strategy and detailed interaction flows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and science experts to train LLMs and deliver world-class user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Create world-class, user-centered designs, informed by UX research, market research, behavioral data, and internal stakeholder feedback
- Demonstrate leadership in driving design processes into the organization
- Translate business requirements into use cases and high-level customer experience requirements
- Design the interface and interaction flow of new features, using Figma, other prototyping tools, and AI tooling for rapid idea generation
- Develop and maintain detailed design specifications
- Present design work to the user experience team, product team, engineering team, Amazon leadership, and external partners for review and feedback
Requirements
- 10+ years of design experience
- Available online portfolio
- Experience with best practices for User Interface Design, Information Architecture, and Interaction Design
- Experience in life cycle design projects from design strategy through execution
