Video Editor & Graphic Designer

The role involves editing raw footage into polished videos and creating engaging graphics for various media formats. Additionally, the candidate will support new creative initiatives and manage an organized library of creative assets.

Responsibilities

• Edit raw footage into polished, high-quality videos for social media, events, campaigns, and brand communication
• Add graphics, music, sound, effects, captions, transitions, and motion elements to make content more engaging
• Create audience-first video formats that are sharp, modern, and visually compelling
• Support new creative initiatives across audio, video, podcasts, webinars, interviews, and event-led content
• Build and manage an organized library of footage, design assets, and creative files
• Design clean, premium, and visually strong graphics for social media, digital campaigns, print material, presentations, and events
• Develop layouts, illustrations, visual assets, and design elements that support marketing, brand, and community initiatives
• Ensure every creative output reflects Aikya’s brand identity: refined, credible, and high-quality
• Work with internal teams and partners to translate ideas into sharp visual communication
• Bring fresh ideas for videos, campaigns, social media formats, event content, and new media projects
• Experiment with new formats, editing styles, design treatments, and storytelling techniques
• Support video, design, and media requirements for forums, expert sessions, delegations, and community events

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing and graphic design
• Strong portfolio showcasing range, taste, and creative execution
• Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar software
• Proficiency in design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar software
• Knowledge of After Effects, motion graphics, and animation is a plus
• AI-savvy, with the ability to use AI tools to improve creativity, speed, and output quality
• Strong creative judgment and the ability to make content visually engaging and audience-focused
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and deliver consistently strong work
• Good communication skills and comfort working with internal teams, partners, and stakeholders
