Junior UI/UX Designer (Android Mobile App)

Design clean and intuitive user interfaces specifically optimized for the Android ecosystem using Material Design guidelines. Collaborate with product managers and engineers to translate requirements into interactive wireframes and high-fidelity prototypes in Figma.
Responsibilities
- Design for Android: Create clean, intuitive, and visually appealing user interfaces specifically optimized for the Android ecosystem
- Wireframe & Prototype: Translate user stories and product requirements into interactive wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes using Figma
- Adopt Material Design: Learn, apply, and expand upon Google’s Material Design guidelines to ensure native, seamless platform experiences
- Collaborate with Devs: Assist in preparing design assets and documentation for a smooth handoff to Android developers
- User-Centric Iteration: Participate in user research and testing, and use feedback/data to continuously iterate on designs
Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating design process, problem-solving skills, and UI aesthetics
- 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design
- High proficiency in Figma
- Solid baseline understanding of Android design paradigms, screen densities, and navigation patterns
- Soft skills: strong desire to learn, openness to constructive feedback, and ability to clearly articulate design choices
