Junior UX UI Designer- Contractor

The designer will create intuitive digital interfaces, wireframes, and prototypes for internal and external users. They will also contribute to the maintenance of the company's design system and ensure all products meet accessibility standards.
Responsibilities
- Design intuitive and visually engaging digital products, interfaces, and experiences that meet the needs of Victaulic's diverse internal and external users
- Create wireframes and prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders and development teams
- Champion user-friendly and accessible design practices, ensuring deliverables meet established accessibility standards such as WCAG guidelines across all digital touchpoints
- Work within and contribute to Victaulic's design system, supporting its creation, maintenance, and consistent application across products and platforms
- Participate in design reviews and iterative testing cycles, using input from users and stakeholders to continuously refine and improve your designs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 0–2 years of professional or academic experience in UX/UI design
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity in other design and prototyping tools
- A solid understanding of and accessibility standards, interactive design, and visual problem-solving
- Demonstrated ability to create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished UI designs
