MEP Design Manager
Mackenzie Jones Middle East 🇦🇪 Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates
The MEP Design Manager is responsible for leading the MEP design and technical delivery across master development projects. This includes overseeing design reviews and ensuring compliance and integration of engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across all MEP design stages (concept, schematic, detailed design)
- Prepare and present technical reports, design review outcomes, and decision papers to senior management
- Oversee multi-disciplinary MEP projects ensuring that design specifications, construction quality and system integration are maintained throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure seamless integration between all technical disciplines and specialist systems
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (master's preferred)
- Chartered Engineer (CEng) / Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
- LEED AP or CEM advantageous
- 12-15 years of relevant MEP design experience
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale MEP designs
- Experience working in GCC region or Middle East with familiarity of local construction and regulatory environment
