The role involves shaping the user experience of an AI-based Operating System by conducting user research and designing intuitive interfaces. You will transform complex multi-stakeholder workflows into cohesive experiences for installers, operations teams, and homeowners.
Responsibilities
- Run user research: interviews, field studies with installers, usability tests
- Design end-to-end flows, interaction models, and polished UI with crisp information hierarchy
- Collaborate tightly with Product, Engineering, and Operations throughout the design process
- Advocate for the user in all product decisions and trade-off discussions
Requirements
- 5+ years shipping complex digital products (B2B platforms and/or consumer apps)
- Portfolio shows strong UX thinking and craft
- Proven end-to-end responsibility in design/UX
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Figma or similar tools and prototyping
- Experience building or contributing to design systems is a plus
- React/Tailwind/Storybook literacy and comfort around data/IoT is a plus
