Define Opel’s Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) vision and strategy, ensuring coherence across all vehicle lines. Lead and mentor the CMF team while building partnerships with other design and engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Define Opel’s Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) vision and strategy aligned with the brand’s design DNA and product portfolio
- Ensure the portfolio coherence: guarantee consistency and emotional impact of CMF across all vehicle lines, from concept to production
- Translate design concepts into impactful and feasible CMF solutions that maintain coherence across all models
- Ensure CMF direction supports future mobility trends, sustainability goals, aligned with the Brand DNA
Requirements
- Degree in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, Fashion Design, or related field
- Significant experience in CMF Design, at least partly within the automotive industry
- Proven expertise in color development, materials innovation, coatings and surface finishes
- Strong ability to lead and motivate teams with empathy, openness, and purpose
