Graphic Designer, NEWHAM COLLEGE LONDON

The Graphic Designer will develop engaging creative content across digital and print media and produce marketing materials for various campaigns and events. They will also support the maintenance of the College’s visual brand identity and manage multiple design projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop engaging creative content across digital and print media
• Produce marketing materials for campaigns, events, recruitment and communications activity
• Support and maintain the College’s visual brand identity across all platforms
• Create content tailored to a wide range of audiences, including young people, adult learners, employers and parents
• Support social media and website content, including photography, video and rich media
• Manage multiple design projects and production schedules effectively
• Work collaboratively with the wider marketing team to deliver campaign objectives
• Maintain and organise visual assets and creative resources
• Provide in-person support for events and promotional activity where required

Requirements

• Experience working within a marketing and communications environment
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality digital and print design work
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite professionally
• Strong understanding of branding, visual communication and audience engagement
• Ability to create engaging visual content including photography, video and digital media
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong communication and collaborative working skills
• Creative thinking, attention to detail and a proactive approach
