Sr. Design Manager,Chemistry/ Materials

Lead the strategic planning and execution of coolant-related initiatives, including the design of chemical blending processes and the establishment of in-house laboratory infrastructure. Act as the subject matter expert to ensure material compatibility, hardware reliability, and compliance with environmental regulations for AI data center cooling.

Responsibilities

• Architect and lead the strategic planning, execution, and management of all coolant-related initiatives
• Design, scale, and optimize chemical blending and dilution processes
• Establish rigorous Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure precise concentration, electronic-grade purity, and batch-to-batch consistency
• Define strict QC gate-keeping standards
• Establish and oversee the in-house laboratory to monitor critical parameters (dielectric strength, conductivity, pH) using precision instruments (e.g., ICP-MS, FTIR)

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related technical field
• Minimum 8 years of experience in chemical process engineering, semiconductor chemical delivery systems (CDS), or data center cooling infrastructure
• Proven track record in managing 'from-zero-to-one' facility setup or large-scale technical projects
• In-depth knowledge of heat transfer fluids (Dielectric fluids, PG/Water mixtures) and their chemical/physical properties
• Familiarity with chemical analytical techniques (e.g., ICP-MS, Ion Chromatography, Viscometers)
