Sr. UX Researcher, Amazon Device Sales & Customer Experience

The Sr. UX Researcher will collaborate with UX Designers, Product teams, and other Researchers to identify research opportunities and manage user research studies. They will also communicate research findings to influence product direction and improve the customer shopping experience.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key partners (UX Designers, Design Technologists, Product teams, other Researchers) to identify research opportunities and prioritize research questions based on current knowledge, project goals, and risks
- Translate research needs into learning plans and opportunity frameworks that align to and inform business strategy
- Manage recurring user research programs and apply continuous improvement methods to raise quality and drive innovation
- Own all aspects of user research studies: study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communication, and activation
- Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to audiences at varying levels of the organization
- Deliver measurable business impact, as evidenced by research-informed changes to product direction
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
- 5+ years of hands-on work with: field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience
- Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
- Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative data analysis, and statistics
