As a Senior ICT Design Engineer, you will lead the design and delivery of ICT systems across multiple data center builds, ensuring high performance and scalability. You will also mentor junior engineers and drive the adoption of best practices and emerging technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of scalable, high-performance fiber optic and copper plant designs
  • Own the ICT architecture for complex, large-scale data center programs
  • Drive the development and continuous improvement of ICT design standards, BOD templates, specification sections, and QA/QC checklists
  • Identify and resolve complex cross-discipline coordination challenges
  • Define and enforce ICT engineering best practices, design standards, and quality benchmarks
  • Lead and conduct design milestone reviews
  • Review and approve ICT pathway, cabling, and equipment submittals
  • Engage with industry suppliers, manufacturers, and standards bodies to define product requirements and influence AWS procurement strategy

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission-critical facilities
  • 5+ years of ICT design experience in Mission Critical Environments
  • 5+ years of experience developing and leading the production of design documentation
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with fiber optic components, cabling, interconnect products, technologies, and applicable standards
  • BICSI RCDD Certification or internationally recognized equivalent
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
