Product Designer (Learning & Careers Platform) - Volunteer

Help review, refine, and improve the user experience of an AI-powered learning and careers platform. Play a vital role in supporting educational equity for children and young people.
Responsibilities
- Help review, refine and improve the user experience of the platform
- Collaborate with the development team to implement design solutions
- Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, prototypes and high-fidelity designs
- Communicate design concepts and solutions to stakeholders
- Participate in design critiques and feedback sessions
Requirements
- Experience in Product Design, UX Design, UI Design, Service Design or Digital Experience Design
- Strong understanding of usability, accessibility and inclusive design principles
- Experience designing digital products, platforms or online services
- Ability to simplify complex user journeys and workflows
- Familiarity with design tools such as Figma
- Desirable experience includes: Designing learning platforms, EdTech products or online communities
- Experience with accessibility standards (WCAG)
- Experience with gamification, engagement or behaviour-change design
- Interest in education, careers guidance or social impact
