UX Designer, Contractor
Pointclickcare Remote (🇨🇦 Mississauga, Ontario, Canada)
The UX Designer will conduct user research and testing, create mockups, and refine user personas to improve the usability of the platform. They will work closely with product and engineering teams to ensure the design meets user needs.
Responsibilities
- Conducting user research and testing
- Creating mockups to articulate functionality and design
- Refining user personas and mapping journeys
- Championing best practices in user experience design
Requirements
- College/University Degree in a related field (UX Design, Information Technology, Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Visual Communications, etc)
- Expertise in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, DoveTail, Adobe, Protopie, etc
- Expert level of professional UX design experience
- Strong eye for visual design
- Flawless attention to detail
- Experience procuring qualitative and quantitative data
- Experience working in an agile environment
- Expertise with established and emerging design practices
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Passion for helping others and fostering relationships throughout the org
- Creative and analytical mindsets
