The role involves creating and managing visual communications, including websites, social media, and government reports, while ensuring adherence to branding and 508 compliance. The designer will collaborate with advisory groups to develop internal communication policies and execute strategic communication plans.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, coordinate, and prepare materials that support the mission, activities, and initiatives of the government
  • Serve as a technical authority in custom graphic design work
  • Ensure all internal and external documents adhere to a standardized compliance guideline
  • Plan, edit, design, and write content for internal communications media
  • Create and edit visual aids to support internal and external government communications

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI poly
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related fine arts discipline
  • Minimum of two years of experience
  • Experience creating and designing projects and strategic communications using Adobe and Microsoft Suite products
