Lead the design strategy for the Application Performance Monitoring (APM) team to create intuitive experiences for complex technical workflows. Partner with PMs and engineers to bridge the gap between technical requirements and user needs while mentoring other designers.
Responsibilities
- Become a design leader within APM
- Partner with PMs and engineers to design intuitive experiences
- Drive end-to-end product thinking across onboarding, instrumentation, troubleshooting, and performance investigation workflows
- Navigate ambiguity and define product direction through research, systems thinking, and prototyping
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in digital product design
- Strong portfolio showcasing complex technical products and systems-oriented workflows
- Experience designing for developer platforms, observability tools, infrastructure products, or other highly technical domains
