The Design Manager will lead and manage the design delivery process across multiple disciplines, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards. They will coordinate design activities among various stakeholders and oversee design change management and technical issue resolution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the design delivery process across multiple disciplines
- Coordinate design activities between consultants, subcontractors, construction teams, and client representatives
- Ensure designs are compliant with project specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements
- Drive design reviews, technical workshops, and value engineering initiatives
- Manage design programmes and ensure key deliverables are achieved in line with project milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline (Master's degree advantageous)
- Minimum 8 years' experience within Design Management, Project Engineering, or Technical Project Delivery roles
- Proven experience delivering large-scale data centre, mission-critical, industrial, pharmaceutical, energy, or similarly complex infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of MEP systems, building services, and critical infrastructure design principles
