The Product Designer will own the design of the trading interface, collaborating with Product Managers and engineers to create high-quality UI. Responsibilities include managing the design process from brief to delivery, ensuring adherence to design systems, and producing developer-ready handoffs.
Responsibilities
- Own the brief-to-delivery pipeline: receive briefs from business stakeholders, resolve ambiguity proactively, and confirm deliverables, format and success criteria
- Deliver high-quality UI to specification and on agreed timelines, communicating schedule risks immediately and transparently
- Work with fastidious attention to detail within the Figma design system, adhering to strict tokens & variables, design rules and naming conventions
- Create, maintain and extend reusable components using atomic design principles, keeping the system clean, consistent and scalable
Requirements
- Proven experience delivering production-ready UI reliably, to brief and on time
- Deep proficiency in Figma, including design systems, components, variants, auto-layout, prototyping and developer handoff
- Strong working knowledge of atomic design methodology
- Experience designing and launching app and web-based financial products
