EMAT Energy Management Efficiency Synthesis Design Manager

Lead the integration and delivery of energy management simulation and validation to ensure vehicles meet fuel economy, EV range, and performance targets. Manage a team of engineers and coordinate cross-functional trade-offs between propulsion systems, vehicle synthesis, and regulatory teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead vehicle-level Energy Management performance (Fuel Economy, EV range, Longitudinal Performance, Capability)
- Own program status, risk management, and executive reporting
- Lead cross-functional trade-offs balancing efficiency, performance, and compliance
- Ensure alignment with Propulsion Systems, Vehicle Synthesis, and Regulatory teams throughout development and validation
- Drive integration of simulation, test data, and engineering targets through deep-dive analysis
- Lead participation in NA Fuel Economy & CO2 Working Group and coordination with TSRC
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of experience in vehicle or propulsion system development
- Experience in vehicle Fuel Economy and Performance testing or simulation
- Knowledge of Fuel Economy / CO2 regulations
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
