Design end-to-end experiences for agentic legal workflows and data-rich interfaces like governance dashboards. Build and evolve the company's design system while collaborating with engineers and lawyers to translate complex legal workflows into intuitive products.
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end experiences for agentic legal workflows — review interfaces, human-in-the-loop tooling, and outputs that make AI decisions legible and auditable
- Tackle dense, data-rich surfaces — cap tables, governance dashboards, reconciliation views — and make complex legal information understandable at a glance
- Shape how trust, uncertainty, and verification are communicated throughout the product, so users can confidently rely on AI-generated outputs
- Build and evolve Equall's design system — components, patterns, and tokens that scale craft and consistency across a fast-growing product
- Collaborate with Legal Engineers to deeply understand user needs and translate corporate legal workflows into intuitive product experiences
- Partner with engineering from concept through shipping — prototyping interactions, sweating the details, and holding a high bar for craft
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating excellence in workflow design, complex data interfaces, or AI-powered products
- Experience building or contributing meaningfully to a design system in a production product
- Strong systems thinking paired with high visual and interaction craft
- Comfort working across ambiguity — from early discovery through polished, shipped experiences
- Curiosity about legal work, enterprise workflows, and how AI should be surfaced to expert users
- Outstanding communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
