Lead Visual Designer (Hybrid role)

Lead the execution of high-quality marketing assets across five business units, managing projects from brief to final delivery. Provide mentorship and quality assurance for the Visual Designer to ensure brand consistency and production excellence.
Responsibilities
- Own complex design projects end-to-end
- Produce high-quality marketing assets across all 5 Cansel Group business units
- Apply brand guidelines with precision and consistency
- Manage production file organization and handoff standards
- Contribute to priority improvement areas
- Mentor and lead the Visual Designer
- Review and quality-check the Visual Designer's output
- Support the Visual Designer's skills development
- Help triage and distribute incoming work requests
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a graphic design, visual design, or equivalent production role
- Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong command of design across all key marketing channels
- Proven ability to apply and maintain brand systems with precision across multiple brand identities simultaneously
- Production-ready file discipline
- Mentorship experience or demonstrated willingness to lead
- Excellent project management instincts
- Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating breadth across print, digital, social, and email
