Lead the full product design lifecycle from initial discovery and strategy to final launch and design QA. Collaborate directly with clients and engineering teams to transform ambiguous problems into functional, high-craft products.
Responsibilities
- Run the full arc of product design, from discovery to launch
- Work directly with clients and their teams, from early discovery through launch
- Own design across the full engagement lifecycle, including UX and UI design, interactive prototyping, research, data visualization, and design systems work
- Run discovery workshops and alignment sessions, facilitate feedback with clients and their users, and partner closely with engineering throughout
- Ensure design QA happens and that shipped products reflect the craft and intent behind them
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of relevant design experience
- A track record of launching real products, not just polished concepts
- Communication above all, with ability to speak, articulate thinking, and carry a room
- Self-direction and ownership, with ability to scope own work and manage its blast radius
- Comfort with ambiguity, at both design and business layer
- Design systems thinking as a core competency
- Integration of AI into design practice, with enthusiasm for learning and pushing boundaries
