Sr. UX Researcher, Amazon Device Sales & Customer Experience

Lead end-to-end user research studies to understand how customers discover and purchase Amazon Devices across web and mobile platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to translate research insights into actionable product visions and business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with key partners to identify research opportunities and prioritize research questions
- Translate research needs into learning plans and opportunity frameworks
- Manage recurring user research programs and apply continuous improvement methods
- Own all aspects of user research studies: study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting, communication, and activation
- Communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to audiences at varying levels of the organization
- Deliver measurable business impact, as evidenced by research-informed changes to product direction
Requirements
- 5+ years of proven success leading User Research projects with demonstrated impact experience
- 5+ years of hands-on work with field research, ethnography, lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing, and survey design experience
- Bachelor's degree in HCDE, Human Factors, Cognitive Psychology, or a related field
- Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Experience with behavioral data collection, quantitative data analysis, and statistics
- Have a portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)
