Drive the design, standardization, and optimization of delivery station processes and building layouts across the North America Last Mile network. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement capacity improvements and ensure designs meet safety, quality, and cost goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and optimize the delivery and sortation network for Amazon's LastMile delivery network
  • Build design, development, review, and release for approval, deployment of new delivery stations and existing station capacity improvements and enhancements
  • Provide process expertise on engineering design including material flow, labor placement, conveyors, equipment, operations modules, packaging profiles, physical building, and site layout components
  • Collaborate with Design Managers, CAD drafters, Real Estate Transaction managers, Worldwide Engineering, Pre-Construction, and its architects, material handling equipment suppliers, Launch and Start Up teams, Finance, Volume Planning, and Capacity Planning teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations engineering, manufacturing engineering, or project engineering in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of automated material handling systems, packaging technologies, and storage solutions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
  • Bachelor's degree or above in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other STEM field
