Drive the design strategy and end-to-end user experience for the VMware vDefend Advanced Threat Prevention solution. Collaborate with senior leadership to simplify complex enterprise security workflows into intuitive management processes.
Responsibilities
- Designing user experience, interactions for advanced security solutions, including creating low to high fidelity prototypes to validate designs and interactions
- Driving the long-term design strategy and product vision across multi-product initiatives
- Driving cross-functional alignment and collaboration with senior leadership in Product, Engineering, and Business
- Injecting design thinking and empathy into every nook and cranny of the company
- Mentoring and guiding junior designers, fostering a culture of high-caliber design across the team
Requirements
- Online portfolio with a range of interactive hands-on samples is required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering
- 8+ years of directly related work experience in Product Design, User Interface Design, or HCI in a global technology environments
- Must demonstrate significant experience and deep understanding of a product and its users
- Have been part of teams that designed, built a product from ground up
- Expert level knowledge of creative, design tools such as Figma
- Hands-on Visual Design skills
- System-thinker with a desire to conceptualize and create delightful experiences across multiple products, services and environments
