The role involves creating user-friendly interfaces and designing overall product functionality through a user-centered approach. It also requires leading concurrent service design projects to improve integrated service delivery solutions and business processes.
Responsibilities
- Create effective, user-friendly, and visually appealing interfaces
- Design the overall functionality of the product to ensure a great user experience and iterate upon it in accordance with user testing
- Design user interfaces for various projects such as digital displays, publications, media, and other creative materials
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate on designs
- Conceive and conduct user research, interviews, and surveys, and translate them into sitemaps, user flows, customer journey maps, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
Requirements
- Relevant experience creating GUI designs based on user interaction and performance
- Experience as a UX designer, interactive designer, UI designer, or similar role
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools
- Thorough understanding of the limitations and appropriate use of web development technologies
- Experience designing online programs with an emphasis on the emotional aspects of human experience
