VDC BIM Designer, DC Design Engineering

The role involves creating and maintaining coordinated BIM models for data center facilities, focusing on multi-disciplinary coordination and clash resolution. You will collaborate with internal and external teams to optimize designs and ensure building code compliance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to refine data center designs
- Create detailed models, drawings, specifications, prototypes, and update managers and leaders of changes to the building design
- Engage in design discussions, review feedback from peers and collaborators, and adjust designs to ensure data center solutions meet the highest standards of efficiency and quality
- Coordinate consolidated templates, insource and trades models of Data Centers, and utilize Revit and Navisworks to maintain standards
- Work independently and within a team environment to accomplish assigned tasks
Requirements
- Experience with the design, construction, operation, or maintenance of mission critical facilities, especially data centers
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience with Autodesk Revit and BIM coordination
- 3+ years of producing construction drawings for mission critical facilities
- Experience with Navisworks
