Lead the full product design lifecycle from initial discovery and strategy to final shipping and design QA. Collaborate directly with clients and engineering teams to transform ambiguous problems into functional, high-quality products.
Responsibilities
- Run the full arc of product design, from sitting with a client in the fog of an undefined problem to shipping a launched product
- Work directly with clients, sift through unknowns, contribute to strategy, and drive toward outcomes even when the brief is ambiguous and the target keeps moving
- Run discovery workshops and alignment sessions, facilitate feedback with clients and their users, and partner closely with engineering throughout
- Own design across the full engagement lifecycle, including UX and UI design, interactive prototyping, research, data visualization, and design systems work
- Ensure design QA happens and that shipped products reflect the craft and intent behind them
Requirements
- At least 5-7 years of relevant design experience
- A track record of launching real products, not just polished concepts
- Communication above all
- Self-direction and ownership
- Comfort with ambiguity, at both the design and business layer
- Design systems thinking as a core competency
- Experience with UX and UI design, interactive prototyping, user research, data visualization, and design systems
