Own the end-to-end design of Kindle reading experiences from early concept to launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate complex customer problems into scalable, elegant UI and interaction solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate and work closely with product management, engineering, and research from design concept to design solution
  • Set UX guidelines and drive cross-team collaboration and sharing
  • Establish best practices for interaction models and user interface designs throughout the team
  • Communicate complex, interactive design concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of UX design experience
  • Strong portfolio of end-to-end product work
  • Fluency in tools like Figma
  • Experience using AI in the design process
  • Experience designing for consumer hardware or mobile platforms
  • Background in reading apps, content discovery, or e-readers is a plus
