Staff UX Designer

Lead strategic and tactical UX initiatives for Omnipod's mobile app suite across Android and iOS platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs are safe, effective, and compliant with FDA guidelines for medical devices.
Responsibilities
- Lead tactical and innovation UX initiatives within an agile environment on mobile applications-Android and iOS or complex web and e-commerce applications
- Work with Marketing, Technical Product Marketing and Systems teams to support requirements definition as it relates to UX
- Lead programs with minimal supervision from management, will lead others in program responsibilities, may mentor junior staff on programs and career wise
- Defining safe, effective and delightful user experiences for mobile experiences using industry standard tools
- Delivery of said UX work with a variety of tools in an agile development environment
- Work in a fast-paced agile, dispersed development team
- Proactively engage with research to drive testing of your concepts
- Lead and successfully communicate design concepts and user experience vision in a compelling and positive manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Master's in Psychology, Computer Science, HCI, Industrial Engineering, Interaction Design, Design, Human Factors or equivalent
- 7-12 years of relevant experience in UX and product design
- Expert knowledge in Industry standard UX/Dev tools
- Fluent in usability standards and design heuristics and responsive design techniques
- Strong portfolio required with strong storytelling and presentation skills
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working in an agile development environment
