The Junior Graphic Designer creates creative graphic elements for traditional and interactive mediums to maintain the Philadelphia 76ers brand. Responsibilities include designing campaign assets, motion graphics, and collaborating with digital marketing for web and email layouts.

Responsibilities

  • Design original creative elements
  • Adapt design elements to carry out the continuity of the 76ers brands throughout all collateral
  • Lead certain design projects, including ticket sales material, advertising, in-arena graphics, promotional items, internal communication pieces and presentations, program logos
  • Build motion graphics and animated compositions from static 2D design and artwork
  • Collaborate with digital marketing to create e-mail and web graphic layouts and design
  • Conceptualize and build custom creative concepts for sales pitches and client presentations

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of graphic design experience
  • BA/BS in graphic design preferred
  • Portfolio showcasing a range of design work across print, digital, and social platforms required
  • Competency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & After Effects)
  • Knowledge of AfterEffects and ability to create original motion graphics
  • Solid design sense; thorough understanding of design theory including principles such as color, typography and composition
