Design Engineering Supervisor

Oversee the design and development of modular enclosure systems, focusing on structural and sheet metal components. Lead internal teams and external contractors to ensure high-quality engineering deliverables from concept through production.
Responsibilities
- Support a team of mechanical designers specializing in structural design, sheet metal components, fabrication and welding processes, and assembly of modular enclosures
- Translate engineering requirements, specifications, and concepts into detailed 3D models and 2D drawings and layouts
- Utilize industry-standard CAD tools, including SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit
- Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry codes, standards, and best practices
- Review and approve engineering drawings, models, and documentation for accuracy, manufacturability, and quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design engineering
- Proven experience designing structural and sheet metal systems, preferably for fabricated or modular products
- Prior experience in a leadership or supervisory role is strongly preferred
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Revit
