Lead the end-to-end experience design of AI-enabled public sector products and services for government agencies. Collaborate with scrum teams and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive user journeys and accessible designs.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end experience design of AI-enabled public sector products and services
- Apply design thinking to tackle complex problems
- Ensure AI solutions are intuitive, transparent, and aligned with policy and operational needs
- Work with scrum team and other government agencies to inform product and design decisions
- Influence digital experience for agency users and the public
- Gather requirements, co-create with stakeholders and scrum team, test, prototype, and ship new features
Requirements
- Product and user-centric mindset
- A desire to serve the public through the use of technology
- Ability to translate complexity into clear user journeys, workflows, information architectures, and interaction patterns
- Ability to balance user, business, and technical needs and make informed trade-offs
- Data-driven with experience in user research
- Ability to present design strategies and decisions to leadership and stakeholders
- At least 6-8 years of professional experience in UX, interaction, or product design
- Mastery of design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Miro)
- Experience working within agile and cross-functional product teams
- Frontend development knowledge is a bonus
