Senior Water Design Manager

Lead the technical execution and design management of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects, including treatment plants and pump stations. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and clients while mentoring junior engineers and performing quality assurance reviews.
Responsibilities
- Serve as lead designer and/or design manager of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure including treatment plants, pump stations, and hydraulic structures such as intakes and/or gate projects
- Exercising engineering judgement to develop solutions to complex water infrastructure challenges
- Coordinate with clients, Project Managers, and multidisciplinary teams during all project phases, from schematic design to construction
- Engage in our national process mechanical practice, serve as a technical resource for the region, and provide mentoring of junior engineers to grow our teamâs capabilities in South Florida
- Participate in Arcadisâ quality culture by performing quality assurance and control reviews of water infrastructure
Requirements
- 10 years of pump station design experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field of study
- Florida PE License or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Excellent technical engineering in design of water, wastewater and stormwater infrastructure including treatment plants and pump stations
- Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills and excellent technical writing skills
