Lead and deliver hands-on user research and usability testing for medical hardware and software products. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and excellent user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Leads and delivers hands-on UX research and usability testing activities
- Defines usability strategy to meet program objectives and usability compliance
- Works with Regulatory Affairs to align usability strategy with regulatory submission strategies
- Leads the planning, timing, scoping, and execution of UX research activities
- Independently plans, conducts and documents contextual studies, interviews, surveys, task and use error analyses, user reviews, heuristic evaluations, and usability testing
- Plans, facilitates and reports study results and workshop outcomes
- Balances the right activities with the available resources, to meet business objectives
Requirements
- Experience in UX research and usability testing
- Strong understanding of human-centered design principles
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
