Responsible for the design, integration, and support of primary and secondary aircraft aerostructures for new and in-service programs. This includes creating 3D mock-ups, 2D drawings, and ensuring compliance with airworthiness regulations.
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain 3D digital mockāups for primary and secondary aerostructure components from concept through production
- Prepare and update 2D engineering drawings with integrated working instructions
- Ensure designs meet Fit, Form, Function, Manufacturability, and applicable airworthiness regulations
- Support stress, weights, and certification activities by providing accurate design definition
Requirements
- College or University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant aerostructure design experience for professional/senior profiles
- Aerospace manufacturing industry experience (asset for junior, required for senior)
- Knowledge of airworthiness certification requirements (asset)
- Experience with systems installation integration is an asset
