Develop original outreach materials including social media posts, posters, and newsletters to promote community initiatives. Support large-scale community engagement events and projects through the Kenney Center.

Responsibilities

  • Utilize artistic skills to develop unique social media and print materials to promote opportunities and initiatives
  • Take on other projects based on your skills and interests - for example, designing activity materials for children, photographing events, managing social media
  • Support large-scale community engagement events including service days, collaborative events with local schools, and various division-wide programs

Requirements

  • Must be a Union College student who is eligible for work-study
  • Must be available to work at least one Common Hour (12:50-1:40pm) each week
  • Must be attentive to detail and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience with design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Affinity, Canva, or similar is preferred
  • General proficiency in Google Workspace is required
