Associate Product Designer

The Associate Product Designer will create creative directions and prototypes for the Organic Acquisition team across AU, UK, and US markets. They will focus on integrating AI into the user discovery experience and iterating on designs based on user feedback and the Airtasker Design System.
Responsibilities
- Take a defined brief and run with it
- Bring a strong visual design eye
- Apply solid visual craft and an understanding of UX patterns
- Help shape acquisition for an AI-first world
- Design across three markets
- Use AI to build and prototype
- Ship and iterate
- Apply the Airtasker Design System
- Collaborate closely with PM and engineers
- Run lightweight research
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in product design
- Portfolio that shows clear visual craft and a feel for interface patterns
- Hustle and a real can-do attitude
- A real love for designing and building
- Strong visual design eye and a solid understanding of UX patterns
- Ability to ideate quickly across many directions
- Genuine hunger to grow craft through AI
- Comfort using AI tools to prototype
- Proficient in Figma and designing for responsive web
- Effective collaboration with PMs, engineers, content, product marketing and others
- Comfort with feedback
