Design Manager, Transportation

Lead multi-disciplinary design teams for transportation infrastructure projects within a Design & Build environment. Bridge the gap between consultant design and contractor execution to ensure practical, buildable, and safe outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multi-disciplinary design teams across infrastructure projects
• Drive design delivery in Design & Build environments
• Interface closely with contractors to ensure constructability and efficient delivery
• Drive construction innovation of the infrastructure design works and to improve constructability and design for safety in development of design
• Provide guidance to internal teams on contractor expectations

Requirements

• Chartered Engineer (MHKIE / MICE or equivalent), QP and PE
• Strong experience in Infrastructure work, railway, airport, roads
• Proven experience in Design & Build project delivery
• Deep understanding of contractor workflows and construction methodologies
• Familiarity with Hong Kong/China or Singapore infrastructure market and regulatory environment
