The role involves designing intuitive user experiences for Google TV, focusing on AI-powered predictive interfaces and 10-foot interfaces. You will manage the design lifecycle of the TV OS and collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the Google design language.
Responsibilities
- Represent the user in every product discussion, ensuring that platform requirements never compromise the core human experience
- Integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) into your design process to explore and rapidly iterate on predictive interfaces
- Define and prototype how users will interact with TVs next, moving fluidly between voice, gesture, and AI-motivated inputs
- Manage the design lifecycle for the TV Operating System (OS), from initial identifying of user friction to delivering polished, high-impact solutions
- Collaborate with Product Managers (PMs) and engineers to translate business goals into design strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- 4 years of experience with interaction design in product design or User Experience (UX) design
- Experience in User Experience (UX) with visual design
- Figma and other tools
- Portfolio centered on consumer products for Android or 10-foot interfaces
