Product Designer

Lead the end-to-end design process for hardgoods, accessories, and gear, from initial concept and prototyping to production handoff. Collaborate with sourcing and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet performance, durability, and brand standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new products across lifting accessories, belts, straps, wraps, plate carriers, bags, recovery products, training equipment
• Create product concepts, sketches, CAD models, and technical specifications
• Translate athlete feedback and market insights into functional product improvements
• Develop products balancing performance, durability, aesthetics, manufacturability, cost targets
• Build detailed tech packs and product specifications
• Collaborate with factories and sourcing teams on materials, construction methods, revisions, production feasibility
• Review prototypes and drive iterative improvements through testing
• Research market trends, competitor products, and emerging materials
• Identify opportunities for innovation across new and existing categories
• Participate in product ideation and roadmap development
• Support future category expansion initiatives
• Partner closely with Product Development, Sourcing, Creative, Marketing, Ecommerce, Athletes, Operations
• Manage product development timelines from concept through production handoff
• Track milestones, prototype rounds, approvals, and production readiness
• Coordinate with internal teams and overseas factories to ensure deadlines are met

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in product design, industrial design, soft goods design, sporting goods, tactical products, or consumer products
• Strong understanding of product development processes
• Experience with CAD software such as Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Rhino
• Ability to create detailed technical specifications and tech packs
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
