Major Construction Design Engineering Senior II

Acts as a liaison between permitting managers and contractors to gather technical documents for agency authorizations. Oversees design and construction phases, ensuring regulatory compliance and the implementation of sustainable design principles.
Responsibilities
- Resolves design and construction issues during project implementation, ensuring smooth execution and timely problem-solving
- Integrate sustainable design principles to reduce environmental impact and enhance energy and resource efficiency
- Conducts structural analyses and feasibility studies to optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, constructability, and sustainability
- Collaborate with regulatory agencies to secure necessary permits and ensure compliance with all applicable codes and regulations
- Provides technical guidance and oversight throughout design and construction phases, including site inspections and structural assessments
Requirements
- Typically requires a 4-year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience
- Typically requires 8 years of related experience
- Requires 5 years of regulatory FERC/PHMSA experience and/or equivalent LNG Projects experience
- Preferred Licenses and Certifications: Fundamentals of Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification is preferred
