UX Designer (12 Month FTC)

The UX Designer will craft end-to-end user journeys and prototypes while balancing business requirements with user needs. They are responsible for collaborating with design teams and developers to ensure inclusive, accessible designs are delivered to specification.
Responsibilities
- Skillfully craft the end-to-end user experience, bringing together a cohesive journey step by step, creatively using components from a central design system
- Bring designs to life with a choice of prototyping software, such as Sketch / InVision / Figma / Axure / Adobe XD
- Balance business requirements with user needs â gathering user research and rationale to align stakeholders on individual user needs
- Be adaptable to the technical constraints of different platforms yet still be able to give guidance on creating the best possible end user experience
- Advocate customer inclusion â making an inclusive and accessible design to be used by customers of a wide range of ages, backgrounds and technical abilities
Requirements
- A minimum 5 years experience within User Experience design/Interaction Design
- Strong experience as an Interaction Designer, UX Designer (or possibly from a Visual Design background)
- Full ownership of the Interaction Design project
- Excellent prototyping and layout skills
- Comfortable using existing design systems, proactively recommending new ways to improve and extend them
- Ability to interpret quantitative and qualitative research, and how this informs the interaction design process
