Own the end-to-end design system roadmap, ensuring a tight integration between Figma, Storybook, and Zeroheight. Focus on scaling the system and optimizing it for AI consumption to reduce prototype-to-production drift.
Responsibilities
- Owning the design system end-to-end
- Setting and shipping the roadmap
- Deciding what to build, deprecate, or leave alone
- Keeping the Figma-Storybook-Zeroheight stack tight
- Participating in contribution flows, component APIs, and design-to-code handshake
- Running governance work, such as audits, deprecations, and documentation hygiene
- Designing a system that AI can consume cleanly
Requirements
- Experience shipping and governing a design system in production
- Senior craft in Figma, tokens, component architecture, and design-engineering handshake
- Technical literacy in HTML, CSS, and React/TypeScript
- Evidence of running a real roadmap for a system
- Fluent use of LLMs and AI prototyping tools
- Excellent written communication skills
