Remote Front-End Web Designer
Joydrive Remote (🇺🇸 Seattle, Washington, United States of America)
The role involves creating visually appealing and effective user experiences by designing mock-ups, wireframes, and task flows. The designer will implement these designs using HTML and CSS while collaborating with an agile technology team.
Responsibilities
- Understanding of basic front-end languages: HTML5, CSS3/SASS
- User Experience Design
- Creating Mok-ups (low-fidelity and high-fidelity wireframes)
- Usability Best Practices and User-Centered Design
- Interaction Design (Adobe CC, Sketch, Invision, etc., and basic Graphic Design)
- Feature Development and Product Management / User Advocacy
Requirements
- Experience working with an agile development process and a design sprint approach
- Experience working on a distributed team (or experience working remotely)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
- Desire and passion to change a decades-old industry
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
