Lead the planning and execution of government approvals and building permits for data center development. Act as the primary point of contact for authorities having jurisdiction and coordinate with internal partner teams to mitigate risks.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the planning, execution, and evaluation of all critical government approvals required for data center development
- Lead all building permit processes for assigned projects
- Work with partner teams to develop a permitting strategy, ensure that strategy is being executed effectively, and identify and mitigate risks associated with AHJ approval processes
- Identify all permits required to construct data center infrastructure
- Track real-time permit delivery metrics and complete after-action reviews to identify and solution opportunities for process improvement
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
- Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance
- Experience in industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
