Acoustic Design Engineer, DC Design Engineering

Influence all aspects of acoustics and sound mitigation for the design, construction, and operation of global data centers. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with local ordinances and improve acoustical design standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform and oversee project-related work, such as building sound modeling, paper writing, and document review
- Coordinate with public officials to establish basic site infrastructure requirements
- Coordinate acoustical mitigation requirements, supporting utilities, and equipment locations
- Provide detailed construction specifications for all sound and acoustics-related trades
Requirements
- 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
- Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities
- Experience in commissioning
